From the Pastor’s Desk:
We are
so pleased that you have logged onto our site. I hope
you will find this site to be informative as well as
inspirational. I am
excited about what God is about to do in the body of
Christ. The future is not bleak for the righteous.
Though this country seems to be in turmoil, God said to
tell the righteous, it shall be well! (Is. 3:10). We
must have that God-type faith in order to make it – a
faith that overcomes fear, doubt, and defeat.
Through
this year and years to come, keep your faith in the
Word of God. Continue to fast and pray, and do whatever God has
called you to do, know that you cannot be defeated
unless you allow the enemy to defeat you. Always
remember, “No weapon that is form against thee shall
prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee
in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of
the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of
me, saith the Lord." (Is. 54:16-17).
God has
raised me up as one of the last day Apostles to cry
aloud and spare not; to lift up my voice like a trumpet
and to show His people their transgressions. He’s
anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; bind
up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the
captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are
bound, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord…(Is.
58:1, 61:1-2).
As I
continue to pray for the body of Christ all over the
world, I ask for your prayers that I may continue to
endeavor to do what God has called me to do in the body
of Christ.
In His
Service,
Apostle David L. Smith

Biography of Dr. Linda S. Smith
Elect Lady of the
Blessed Assurance
Churches |
Dr.
Linda Smith has dedicated her life to fasting, praying
and seeking the face of God. Even though she and her
husband, Apostle David L. Smith, started out with humble
beginnings in a converted nightclub, which became a
place of refugee for lost souls, an extension of that
ministry has been birthed. Dr. Smith carries a burden
and compassion for hurting women of all ethnic,
cultural, denominational and social backgrounds. Her
vision for all women is to see them move forward and
become yielded and willing vessels of excellence in
which God can use.
Dr.
Smith grew up in Syracuse, NY and moved to Kannapolis in
1973. She is married to the Pastor and Founder of the
Blessed Assurance Churches, Apostle David L. Smith.
They have two sons, Andre’ and LaBrint. Dr. Smith has
received her Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Counseling
and a Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate Degree in
Theology. She is a member of the Black African American
Christian Counselors (B.A.A.C.C.) and the American
Association of Christian Counselors (A.A.C.C.). Most
importantly, she is a chosen vessel of God. She is
anointed to touch the lives of hurting women and to
encourage, strengthen and empower the people of God.
