MISSION STATEMENT:
Affirm the life, death and resurrection of Jesus
Christ; to reach the unchurched and the unsaved by
carrying out the charge given in the Great Commission
found in Matthew 28: 19-20, leading them to accept Jesus
Christ as their personal Savior and then establish them
in faith; motivate and encourage them to live a
spirit-led, biblically-based life; stimulate and
facilitate their spiritual growth and maturity;
cultivate, empower and equip them to do ministry.
VISION STATEMENT:
Take the message of Jesus Christ to the world by
establishing a godly presence in the community and
extended areas by sharing God's word, and His love
through community service, outreach, and evangelism.
CHURCH THEME:
“… for we walk by faith, not by sight.” ( 2 Cor.
5:7)
The Word of God declares in
Eph 2:8, “For by grace are ye saved through
faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the
gift of God.” It takes faith to be saved.
Likewise, it takes faith to live saved.
Accordingly, our faith does not end once we
receive salvation. It extends throughout our daily
walk with Christ. We live every day, walking by
faith in Jesus Christ, not by sight.
STATEMENT OF FAITH:
WE BELIEVE the entire
Bible, in its original form, is the inspired, inerrant
Word of God, (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21). It is
God’s infallible revelation to man. It is without
error or contradiction, and the authority on which we
base our faith, conduct and doctrine. It is the
only binding rule of faith and practice, and the final
authority for truth and salvation. (Luke 24:27, John
5:39; Romans 15:4)
WE BELIEVE there is
only one living and true God, infinite in every
excellence, manifesting himself in the persons of the
Trinity - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - equal in every
perfection and executing distinct but harmonious offices
in the great work of redemption. Deuteronomy 6:4;
Galatians 3:20
WE BELIEVE In The Trinity:
God the Father:
God the Father is maker of heaven and earth. He
reigns with providential care over His creation.
He is omnipotent (all-powerful), omniscient
(all-knowing), and omnipresent (everywhere at once).
He is all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-wise. His
very nature is love. (Genesis 1:1, Matthew 6:9;
Romans 8:14,15; 1 Corinthians 8:6; 1 Corinthians 15:24)
God the Son:
The deity of Jesus Christ as the Son of God, who in His
incarnation as a man, was conceived by the Holy Spirit
and born of the Virgin Mary; He lived a sinless life,
died on the cross in our place as the supreme sacrifice
for sin, was buried and rose again on the third day.
He ascended into heaven and now is exalted as King of
kings and Lord of lords. He sits at the right hand
of the Father, interceding for the saints. Through
Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection, He made atonement
for sins and eternal life in heaven possible. (John
1:34-35; John 1:1,2,14,18; Romans 3:24-26’ Romans 8:34)
God the Holy Spirit:
The Holy Spirit is the Divine Person of the Trinity who
convicts the world of sin; bears witness to the truth,
brings life to those who are spiritually dead; baptizes
all believers with power; indwells and empowers
believers and is given as a seal and pledge of our
inheritance in Christ Jesus. It gives gifts to
individuals in the Body of Christ, and aids in the
cultivation of the fruits of the Spirit. (John
3:3-8;14:16-17; 16:7-11; 1 Corinthians 12;7-11;
Ephesians 4:30; 5:18)
WE BELIEVE that man
was created in the image of God, by direct act, not by
the process of evolution; that man, in the person of the
first Adam, was created in innocence but fell into sin;
that every man born since the fall of Adam has been born
with a dead spirit that can only be regenerated by
believing in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. (Genesis
1:26-27; John 3:3; Romans 3:10,23)
WE BELIEVE in the
distinct personality of Satan; that he is the prince of
all powers of darkness and sin, the father of lies, and
the deceiver who enticed man to sin. He comes
to kill, steal, and destroy and is destined to eternal
punishment. (Genesis 3; John 10;10; 2 Corinthians
4:4; Revelation 20:10)
WE BELIEVE that
salvation is a gift of God’s grace and cannot be
obtained through works. It is freely given to
those who put their faith in the finished work of Jesus
Christ on the cross, whose death, burial, resurrection
and ascension are the only premise for salvation.
All who confess Jesus as Lord and believe in their heart
that God raised Him from the dead will be saved.
Salvation is by faith alone, through grace alone, in
Jesus Christ alone. John 1:12; Acts 16:30-33; Ephesians
1:7, 2:8-9)
WE BELIEVE that water
baptism is an ordinance commanded by the Lord Jesus
Christ as an act of obedience, after salvation. It is
not a means of salvation. We also believe in water
immersion – fully immersing a believer’s body in the
water -- to be the only biblical method of water
baptism, and that it symbolizes one’s death to a life of
sin and being raised in the newness of life in Christ
Jesus. Colossians 2:11-14; Romans 6:3-5
WE BELIEVE in the
infilling of, and baptism in, the Holy Spirit with
evidence of speaking in tongues, which will lead and
guide believers as they pursue Godly living.
WE BELIEVE that
spiritual gifts are empowered by the Holy Spirit, that
they are for today, are in operation today, and are
given for the edification of the body of Christ, with
the ultimate goal of bringing praise and honor to God.

WE BELIEVE in
obedience to our Lord’s command to evangelize the world,
to lead people of all nations to faith in Christ and to
growth in Christ-likeness, baptizing them in the name of
the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
We believe that God works through Christians as
instruments of Jesus Christ through the power of the
Holy Spirit. (Matthew 25:31-46; 28:18-20)
WE BELIEVE in the
Church, established by the Lord as a spiritual community
for worship, stewardship, and service to God and men.
WE BELIEVE in the
personal and imminent return of Christ; the day of
Judgment, when all men will stand before God to account
for their lives, where the unconverted will be punished,
and the true Believers will receive their just rewards.
WE BELIEVE in tithing
and offerings as the method of supporting the work of
the Lord, as ordained in Malachi 3:8-10, and that tithes
and offerings should be freely given to your local
church.
